FOR REASONS THAT will not BE EXPLAINED

have you been through a rough patch in your life. Well i am at the moment.

Recently I have broken up with my almost 1 year boyfriend. Yes I was. Still am devistated. I dont think I will ever be able to get over him fully. Thats the thing about your first love, right. Well anyway I dont want to say the real reasons why we broke up but it was mutuall, and part of the reason was lack of communication. This is only the start of my promlems. There is no way to say this lightly so Ill just say it. My parents, a doctor, and I think that i am depressed. like really, its my last year at high school and I have to be depressed. I havnt really told any of my friends or my ex so i thought that telling a bunch of random people that I dont know will help start the realization and maybe some acceptance.

Also to top it off im failing a couple of my classes. Thats Just perfect.
okay im sorry but im gong to have to stop there while my mind is still posative.
bye again

FOR REASONS THAT cant BE EXPLAINED

You live in a town for your entire life. you go to the elementery, middle, and high school in that town. The relation ship that the community has with the schools, stores, home care facilities, and just the people is a great, strong relationship. so who whould want to break that up right.

WELL, recently the school board of the district that I go to had decided to close 1 of the 2 high schools that are in our disterict. HOW BLOODY STUPID CAN THEY BE. Of corse the townspeople, students, teachers, parents, and even the mayor of our town protested at an open meeting to "get feedback on their ideas". The think is that their facts are all wrong. There are 8 elementry schools, 4 middleschools, and only 2 highschools. The reason they wantto close my school (KSS) is because the number of enrollment of sctudents going into high school is declining. Now, noneone but the schoolboard knew about all of this. They hid it behind their backs. The mayor of our town didnt even know about this until the morning of the meeting. THE MAYOR. Also when he wanted to talk and share what he wanted to say, the people running the meeting were not going to let him talk. How rude is that. to let the mayor know 3 or 4 hours before this meeting that they want to close down his highschool and not let him have a say in the desision.

Now I dont know all the facts because I was unable to go to the meeting but my dad did. when he got back he has a good amount of info that they whent over at the meeting. The three main reasons that they want to close KSS is because 1.they can save money 2.the school needs upgrades 3. well I dont remember so im just going to blame it on their stupidity.

When I find out more facts Ill post something.
bye for now

THINK ABOUT IT

So im reading the book "Eat, Pray, Love" and there are so many great quotes in it. They are things that make you stop and think. So Im going to let you read them, think it over , and tell me what your oppinion is. Also my phychology teacher gave us a sheet with "words to live by", and some of them are very intersting.

"A true Soal mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everthing that's holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soal mate is probably the most imprtant person you will ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. but to live with your soal mate forever? Nah. it would be too painful."
-Elizabeth Gilbert

"If Faith were rational, it would be by definition -Faith. Faith is belif in what you cannot see or prove or touch. Faith is walking face first and full speed into the dark."
-Elizabeth Gilbert

"Always tell the truht. That way you don't have to remember what you said"

"Speak the truth, even thought it might create conflict or tension"

"Thoes who think it is permissible to tell white lies soon grow color-blind"

"It takes 20 years to build a reputation and 5 minuits to ruin it."

"You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don't trust enough"

"Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for truth"

"If you want to be respected by others the great thing is to respect yourself . Only by that, only by that, only by self-respect will you compel others to respect you"

Original Photography by Devon Close

For just over a year now my dad and I have been adding and subtracting different things out of our 55gallon salt water tank. The fish, corals, and other plant life in it has extensivly grown over the year. It is now fully bloming with all kinds of different creatures. If you dont know I am an inpiering photographer and hope that one day I can become a Underwater Photographer. I have spent hours apon endless hours standing in front of the tank taking hundreds of pictures of the life that lives in it. I see something different every time I look in it. These are just a few samples of my fish tank photos.
PS. the photo above (coral, pulsing xenia) I entered to national Geographic to be published in a book. Suprisingly It got accepted. But unfortunatly I had to be a US citizen to get it published in the book; which I deffinatly am not. So I lucked out

A TRIP TO REMEMBER

I dont know if you have ever head of one, but recently I have gone on a Hero Holiday. the Hero Holiday that I whent on is a 10 day long trip to Mexico. There you get to know other canadian kids, have the best time of your life and change a families life forever by building a house for them. Along the way you will be asking yourself questions that you never knew the answer to until now. When people ask me about it, how it was, there is really no words to describe what it was like. Its different for everyone, but also it more of an emotional experience that even the most poetic people cannot describe in words. when people do ask me about it I usually start by saying "IT WAS AWESOME" but you know it was more than awsome so then I say "It was the best experiance of my life". I guess one way to describr it would be to say that every emotion or slight feeling that you have ever felt before in your life is rapped up into 10 beautiful days.

My hero holiday started for me with a friend. She had previously been on a hero holiday the summer before and had convinced me that what ever decision I made I would not regret it. So being the adventurous person that I am I decided to join on (for what I didnt know at the time) for the best trip of my life. So with a few other friends, we drove our way from Vancouver Island over to Bellingham. From there we Flew to San Diago. In San Diago we were greeted by a big tan guy and a Kewi! I of corse had no idea who they were but my friend did. She opened her arms to them and from that point on I knew I could trust these guys. So time goes on, we meet the rest of the group, get to know each other. The next day We are on the road to Vicente Guerrero, Mexico.

Apon arrival at the house we were asigned to our rooms and told t obe back for dinner and a debreifing. Being new at the hole thing I played along. The next morning we were loading the bus, my camera at the ready, my mind open to possabilities; but I dont thing my mind was really ready for what the next few days would bring me. With some man power we managed to build a house in 4 days. can you emagin that. 4 days out of your life to build a house for a family in need. The single mom that I built for had 6 boys and previously lived in a house no bigger than my dads truck. It was made out of tarps and held together by tree branches and string. Now at this very moment they are living in a 400 square Ft house equipt with food beds a clean kitchen and 4 strong walls and a sturdy roof over their heads. On that dedication day just to see the family so greatful to have such a simple thing, there is something that triggeres a realization in our hearts, mind, and souls.

Dedication day Is the one day on the trip that everyone dreads and hopes simultainousley. Its the day you hand over the keys to the family and give over the house to them. But its also the day you have to say goodbye. Saying goodbye really is the hardest part. But Ill be back soon.
If you have liked what you have read you can get more info about Hero Holiday at www.absolute.ca. Absolute is a canadian organization that organized and runs more that just Hero Holidays.
